Usando pip, é possível descobrir qual versão de um pacote está atualmente instalada?
Eu sei sobre pip install XYZ --upgrade' mas eu estou me perguntando se existe algo como
pip info XYZ'. Se não qual seria a melhor maneira de dizer qual a versão que estou utilizando atualmente.
A partir de pip 1.3, há um comando pip show
.
$ pip show Jinja2
---
Name: Jinja2
Version: 2.7.3
Location: /path/to/virtualenv/lib/python2.7/site-packages
Requires: markupsafe
Em versões mais antigas, o pip freeze' e o
grep' devem fazer o trabalho muito bem.
$ pip freeze | grep Jinja2
Jinja2==2.7.3
Você também pode instalar yolk' e então executar
yolk -l', o que também dá alguma saída agradável. Aqui está o que eu recebo para o meu pequeno virtualenv:
